How the Business Got Started:
Joe’s lifelong dream as a kid growing up in Florida was to learn to scuba dive. After finally accomplishing that goal in 2008 after returning from Iraq, he soon realized the healing power of the ocean and the calming effect of scuba diving on the soul. After spending the last 5 years working on dive boats and teaching classes on the side, he decided to fulfill another goal start his own company with ScubaJoe’s School Of Diving.

Professional experience with personalized attention. Individual attention can be lost in classes where you are sharing your time with 5, 10, or even 15 other students. From the pool to the final check out dives, you are the focus. We take the time to teach you the skills to become a confident and competent scuba diver! The individual attention doesn’t stop after training. We offer guided shore dives at world famous Blue Heron Bridge, private reef and wreck dives on one of Palm Beach County’s commercial dive charters, or private dives from your boat.

What really sets us apart is our focus on making learning scuba diving convenient for our customers! We provide scuba classes on your schedule. Most people have work, school, and kids. It can be difficult to find a class date that fits into your schedule. With PADI’s module based elearning program, you can learn on your own time. After completing the knowledge work is where the fun begins. Three days in the water and you’re certified for life! Skill work in the pool can be done in our private pool or we can come to yours. The open water dives can be done on consecutive days or whatever works for your schedule.
